Pack your bags! You are about to embark on a journey learning about how to use Canvas as a student. Each passport stop represents an office of Instructure, the company that runs Canvas. You can start your journey at their first office in Salt Lake City, UT. Or, you can choose a different spot to begin your exploration!

This course, Passport to Canvas, covers all you need to know about using Canvas in your classes:

Keep track of work, feedback, and grades from your instructor.
Organize the learning material that your instructor has created.
Stay in touch with other members of your class.

Moving Through the Course

We've organized this course into Modules. Each module focuses on one Canvas tool. You may move through the Modules in order, or you can focus on Modules you would like to learn more about. (e.g., if you mostly use a tablet or smartphone to access Canvas, start with the "Student App" module).
