Collaborating with Shared Documents, Spreadsheets, or PowerPoints

Shared documents are great for collaboration, e.g., OneDrive documents, Google Docs. They can be shared with multiple users, who can work on them simultaneously or at different times. Use cases include...

  • In-class notes: Assign a student to take notes for the day. All students can access the shared doc and the role can revolve through the semester.
  • Short-term group work: Assign a shared document to a group. Each member can work on separate sections of the same document, spreadsheet, or PowerPoint.
  • Long-term group projects: Students can assign team members to work on different sections in the same document, face-to-face or online
