Canvas has a collaborations feature to act as a portal for sharing files with your students via a link (e.g. cloud assignments, online sign-up sheets, etc.). It has traditionally been a bit buggy though. So, here are instructions for sharing documents with a class directly from your OneDrive folder.

Share a Document or Folder

You'll want a list of people to share your item(s) with (see below). Then follow the link to Office 365 from My.Lasell.edu.

In the upper left corner of your Outlook inbox, click on the grid of nine circles. Select OneDrive.
Locate or upload the folder or file you wish to share with your class.
Click on the tray-with-arrow (share) icon to the right of the file or folder name.
Click on "People at Lasell University with the link can view"; check Specific People and Allow editing (if desired).
Click "Apply".
Paste or type email addresses into the indicated field.
Copy Link.
Share the link by email, in Canvas, or anywhere else you use web links.

Create an Email List

While you can easily share a document with everyone at Lasell, it's good practice to share student work only as broadly as necessary. To quickly share a file with a group of people, it helps to have a list of their email addresses, separated by semicolons, prepared in advance. For example: tlc@lasell.edu; tlcteststudent@lasell.edu; tlcteststudent2@lasell.edu

Here's one way to create such a list for your class, using Canvas. You can also create a list by coping and pasting from the spreadsheet in step 2.

Navigate to the Gradebook page of your course.
Select Export from the Actions menu. This opens a spreadsheet in Excel.
Under Editing, choose Replace from the Find & Select group.
Replace .edu with .edu;
Highlight the list of email addresses under "SIS ID" and Ctrl-C to copy (Cmd-C on a Mac).
Paste your list to a document and save so that you don't have to do this again later!
