Presentation at Symposium.

Abstract: Through our HON205 Healthy Relationships class, we explored characteristics and behaviors in healthy and unhealthy relationships, with the added intention of understanding and supporting survivors as well as inspiring self-assessment and positive behavior change for folks who cause harm. The class seeks to normalize community-wide and individual education and accountability for harmful or abusive behavior and provide tools to students and individuals that promote learning and empathy in a compassionate, restorative, and open framework. For this presentation, the students will first discuss and reflect upon the class content and then share the projects they conceptualized and are executing to address gaps or concerns revealed in the 2024 Sexual Misconduct Climate Survey.
