Abstract: In these podcasts students -- in 10 teams of 3 -- explore points of intersectionality in critical arenas. These are passion projects in which students build community among the triads, discover common goals for the project, and produce podcasts which engage others. These podcasts are the culminating class project based on student development of empathy for the other as well as exploration of their social identities, biases, and personal histories. These projects matter because they illuminate the complexity of social identity and work against a social narrative that emphasizes a binary perspective.
