Marriage and Culture in Indian Fictions

Abstract: The students in Multiethnic American Literature class will delineate women’s lives in India and the cultural aspects of it through the lens of two Indian writers:  Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni and Jhumpa Lahiri.  This narration could be sometimes alluring and sometimes eye opening.
