Racial controversies: Original student studies
Presentation Time and Location: 12:00-1:30pm, de Will Hall in Winslow Academic Center

- Who can say the n-word?
- Is taking a knee unpatriotic or antiracist?
- Did anti-Asian hate start with COVID?
- Should Lasell require the SOC104 Equity & Intersectionality course?
- Should schools teach Critical Race Theory or ban books about it?
- Should Native American team names be changed?
- What should US immigration policy be?
Each student in SOC301 Race & Ethnicity did interviews to gather opinions about one controversial topics. Using brief illustrated PowerPoints, they will reveal who tends to hold which opinions.
